Rachel Summer Cheong is a multidisciplinary artist & cultural organizer living in Austin, Texas. Her work has been used by magazines like Vox and Verdict, as well as cultural institutions like the New York Philharmonic and local non-profits like Move Texas. She is the founder of Difficult Friends, an arts & humanities club that offers free and donation-based classes to the Austin public. Her creative work centers issues of alienation, anomie, and the possibilities for love and friendship that remain on our social margins. She is currently working on a romance novel about an emergency medicine physician and a psychic stripper.
